“CCPY staff and volunteers have shifted the behavior of some of our most challenged youth,” says Juan Cruz, the principal of Yerba Buena High School. “The program has helped shift their perspective from being victims of circumstance to being self-reliant and responsible for their lives.”

When GA joined CCPY in September many teachers at the school were afraid of him due to his violent outbursts.
